Let me warn you that this is not the easiest technique to
implement but it's far worth the effort. I developed this
technique myself after I studied other list building
techniques by the experts.
You know when you sign up for a list using a form on
someone's website and then you get redirected to another
page which usually has a few words telling you your
submission was successful?
That redirect page is prime opportunity for real profits
and many people actually have no clue how to utilize it.
The easiest way to win the hearts of your subscribers
before they even get your first email is to offer them a
surprise gift.
Most ezine publishers simply have a thank you message. You
can really profit from this fact. You simply email the
publisher and tell him that you can improve his
relationship with his subscribers and even make him some
money by changing his thank you redirect page.
You then write a highly informative article that pertains
to the topic of the ezine. It's best to target the
information to the publisher's subscribers. Then you offer
an free ebook. A book that you either wrote yourself or
that allows giveaway rights.
Make the page a minisalesletter for the ebook. You will put
an opt in form on that page so people can sign up to get
the ebook.
The web is set up in a way so that people go from link to
link in a continuous and smooth flow of actions. What
happens in most cases when people sign up for an ezine or
list is the continuous flow is abruptly halted.
The visitors are forced to think about where they want to
go next on their web session. If you provide a profitable
solution for ezine publishers, and point out how profitable
changing their thank you redirect page is, they'll
graciously accept your proposition.
Contact a handful of high trafficked sites and you'll be up
to 100 subscribers a day like me.
For additional profits for yourself and your joint venture
partner, on your thank you redirect page, offer a product
for a steep discount and make it known to the visitors that
they will not get the special price again.
If you don't have your own product, there are tons of sites
that offer resell packages of products. Group a number of
those products into your own package and sell the package
for a steep discount. Beware of the rules of resell for
each product though or else you can get yourself in a lot
of trouble.
Say I was doing a joint venture with an ezine publisher
who's ezine is for webmasters and people who sell digital
information products. I would create a resell package of
products that prevent digital product theft.
I would then create an affiliate program for that package
and give 75% profit to my joint venture partner. You can
set up an account to sell products through Clickbank.com
for $50. They will pay your affiliates for you.
Now why 75%? You're building your list which is much more
important than losing a few dollars in commission. You're
still making 25% and building your list at lightning speed.
Let's summarize what's going to happen in the whole system
for your visitors. People come to your joint venture
partners' websites and sign up for their ezine. The
visitors get redirected to your minisalesletter which
contains an article relevant to the visitors.
When they see how good the information is, they will opt in
for your list. They then get redirected to a special offer
page for your resell package. When they buy, your joint
venture partner gets 75% of the selling price.
In turn, you get to build your list at record pace so that
you can sell them backend products.
Go sign up for a bunch of ezines and check out their thank
you redirect page now to look for joint venture partners.
